Replicative function of condensin under topological stress

Da Mota et al reveal an evolutionarily conserved role for condensin in resolving topological stress at stalled replication forks, thus ensuring efficient replication restart and genome stability.

Molecular mechanisms of Camptothecin tolerance in proliferative cells

Courtes et al. show that the DNA damage response signaling pathway is actively attenuated at lesion sites induced by the anti-tumor drug camptothecin targeting the DNA topoisomerase 1 to promote replication completion and preserve genome stability.

Welcome to Roberta Ragazzini!

Roberta started her new team last April 2026 at IGH, with fundings from ATIP-AVENIR and FRM.

Highlight: The OvaryProtect project

The blog "Focus Sciences" of "CNRS le Journal" highlights the OvaryProtect project led by Francis Poulat.

3D chromosome structures remember a cell’s past and transmit it to the progeny

Paldi et al. show that acute perturbation of the epigenome induces cellular memory of gene expression in mouse ESCs.

Welcome to Sora Yang!

Sora started her new team last month, February 2026 at IGH, with fundings from ANR and University of Montpellier.

A promising target for anticancer therapy

Impheng et al. present the development of a novel highly specific inhibitor of tubulin detyrosination that can reverse the epithelial to mesenchymal transition in lung cancer cells.
